A wall cabinet doesn’t necessarily need to be used on a wall; it can be placed back to back with a base cabinet to create a 900mm depth island bench. Don’t forget to purchase your adjustable legs separately from Bunnings Warehouse for this look.
Slimline cabinets are also particularly versatile as when turned on their sides, they are transformed into 600mm, 800mm or 900mm high cabinets. This is perfect if you’re looking to create a multilevel kitchen with a raised breakfast bar or even a sunken servery.
If you’re looking to create a feature out of a wall cabinet then upholstering it is a great, easy way to do it! Simply attach your chosen fabric to the inside of the carcase and you’ll create a truly unique design than can either be left as an open cabinet or placed behind a glass door.
Whilst medium pantries give you flexibility when placed on top of either drawer or door cabinets, with the attachment of legs, they can also be used as freestanding units. This is great if you have a preference for shorter cabinets or have obstructions such as bulkheads that mean that you cannot place full height pantry cabinets.
