Wayne and his wife Narelle bought a “beat up, run down old clunker out the back of Redbank Plains” with the intention of taking on a minor renovation to liven up the place and rent it out to tenants. Structurally, the property had good bones but it had also been neglected for many years.
The couple made an appointment at Bunnings with a Kitchen Design Consultant who then came to their property for an inspection and to also assist with their overall kitchen design.
“He was prompt and very professional. We were happy with his suggestions and his CAD drawings looked great”, Wayne said.
“We went ahead and ordered the flat pack and I picked everything up from Springfield Bunnings about a week later, except the benchtop, I had to wait a few more days for that.”
The Bunnings team member kept Wayne and Narelle informed throughout the process and contacted them as soon as pick up was available from their local store!
“Big shout out to Mace in the Special Orders Section at Springfield Bunnings, he was awesome”, Wayne said.
When it came time to assembling and installing the kitchen, Wayne took his time and eased his way through it.
“I just took it slowly, followed all the instructions, and watched the kaboodle Installation DVD. I did most of the installation myself, except for the wall cupboards, my good friend Kev gave me a hand with them”, he said.
Wayne and Narelle are very happy with the outcome of their brand new kitchen.
“I would recommend anyone doing a new kitchen to consider a kaboodle flat pack. I can’t believe how good our new kitchen looks, we’re really pleased with the result.”
