Terms and Conditions

 

1. The promoter is DIY Resolutions Pty Ltd (ACN 103 688 679) (“DIY”) whose registered office is at 143-147 NATIONAL BOULEVARD, CAMPBELLFIELD VIC 3061.
2. The competition is exclusively open to employees at Bunnings Group Limited (ABN 26 008 672 179) who are employed in Australia and have responsibilities as In-Home Consultants or In Store Kitchen Experts (“Bunnings Team Members”), and Australian residents over the age of 18 who own a property in Australia (“Customer”).
3. There is no entry fee to enter this competition.
4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Route to entry for the competition via www.kaboodle.com.au/competition-terms-and-conditions and details of how to enter are available via flyers from eligible team member’s in-store.
6. The competition commences 12 am, 15 October 2018 and the Closing Date for entry will be 12am, 30 June 2019 AEST.  After the Closing Date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
8. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows.  The entrants must:
   a) Personally design the Customer’s kitchen which must include one or more cabinets from DIY’s cut to measure range.  The cut to measure range allows selected cabinets, doors, panels, splashbacks and benchtops to be modified to specific, non-standard widths.
   b) Take a before photo of the Customer’s kitchen. The photo must be taken by the Customer.
   c) Ensure the Customer installs the Customer’s kitchen to completion and must include one or more cabinets from DIY’s cut to measure range.
   d) Take an after photo of the Customer’s completed kitchen ensuring that the product(s) are clearly visible in the photo. The photo must be taken by the Customer.
   e) Provide consent to participate in the competition by obtaining a copy of the DIY – Customer Photography & Video Release form (“Release Form”) signed by the Customer.
9. Send before and after photos, kitchen design plans (render), and signed Release Form to competitions@kaboodlegroup.com.au along with your contact details and the customers’ contact details by the Closing Date.  This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.  Each valid entry will be individually judged by representatives of Home Beautiful Editorial team at Pacific Magazines Pty Limited (ABN 16 097 410 896) (“Pacific Magazines”) of Media City, 8 Central Avenue Eveleigh NSW 2015.  Each valid entry will be based on creativity, originality, use of one of DIY’s products and connectivity to DIY’s cut to measure program.
10. A shortlist of three kitchens will be selected and DIY have the right to interview shortlisted kitchen owners. 
11. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions or received after the Closing Date are invalid and will not be included in the judging. DIY reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants at any time and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who DIY believes has breached these terms and conditions.
12. DIY’s decision as to those able to take part and the selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
13. Each entrant warrants to DIY that each entry constitutes his/her original work and does not infringe the rights of any third party.   
14. The prizes are as follows:
    •  One AUD$1,000 Bunnings gift card for the winning Bunnings Team Member and the chance to be recognised in Pacific Magazines Home Beautiful magazine; and 
    •  One AUD$1,000 Bunnings gift card for the winning Customer and the chance to be recognised in Pacific Magazines Home Beautiful magazine.
15. The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.  The prizes are not transferable.  Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
16. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the Closing Date.  If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
17. DIY will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.
18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the law of Victoria, Australia and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
19. The winner(s) agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material on kaboodle and Home Beautiful promotional channels, as well as their entry, including on any Social Network or webpage.  This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or any other Social Network or any supplier of any of the prizes. 
20. You consent for your contact details and information relating to your kitchen renovation to be shared with DIY, Bunnings Group Limited and Pacific Magazines.  The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy by DIY found at https://www.kaboodle.com.au/privacy-policy.

DIY shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions or cancel the competition.
